When lifting heavy weights, it often happens that the muscles you want to train, rather than the forearms and grip strength, are not sufficiently engaged. For these situations, a set of lifting straps can be helpful. Using the lifting straps transfers some of the weight to the wrist, making it easier to lift heavy loads.
These straps are approximately 60cm long and have a small foam padding on the inside to protect your wrists. The cotton strap is very durable and ensures better grip even when you sweat. The loop design makes these straps universally applicable.
The strap is wrapped around the bar and held in place by the hands. When the hands are opened, the strap automatically extends. Should the weight prove too heavy, it can still be released without catching on the wrists.
